For the purpose of loading bulk Cement into Vessel’s Holds and due to the Vessel type, an approximately 600mm diameter hole, known as the Cement Hole, was cut in the middle of the hatch cover of Holds number 2 and 4 to allow insertion of the bulk cargo delivery pipe. This system enabled continuous loading even in rainy conditions and with minimal dust pollution. Is this a good practice to follow?
